    It is the oldest pizza, born in the 18th century, it gives its name to the fact that the ingredients, easily preservable, could be used by seamen to make pizzas during their long sea voyages.

    The ingredients are the same of pizza Margherita and it is a tasteful version, the difference is that the “mozzarella di bufala” (buffalo-milk mozzarella) – another typical product of Neapolitan tradition - is used instead of the “fior di latte” (cow-milk mozzarella).
